We've been servicing the Mackay region since 2004, keeping refrigeration and air conditioning running across Mackay and North Queensland. Refrigeration and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) handled in-house — one point of contact from start to finish.
Mackay Refrigeration Pty Ltd (trading as Mackay Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning) was established to fill a gap in the Mackay commercial market — a contractor who could handle the full scope of refrigeration and HVAC work in-house under the company's QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) and Arctick (refrigerant handling licence) licences, and coordinate the electricians, builders, and panel installers a job needs, so you deal with one point of contact from start to finish.
What we do
We design, supply, install, commission, and maintain commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. That means cold rooms, freezer rooms, display cabinets, beer reticulation, commercial split systems, ducted HVAC — from initial brief to ongoing service contract.
Mackay Refrigeration Pty Ltd holds Arctick RTA AU00021 and QBCC contractor licence 15026021. All work is documented and compliant.
Where we operate
Our base is Mackay, and we regularly service Sarina, the Whitsundays, and Moranbah and the surrounding western townships. For rural and remote properties west of Mackay, we travel by arrangement — give us a call and we can work out logistics.

Cold chain failures don't keep business hours. Our 24/7 emergency response is available to clients on a service contract. Call the line and you go straight through to our on-call technician, not an answering service — so if your compressor goes down or you've got a refrigerant leak, someone who can help picks up on 07 4953 1245.
